The most obvious part of Grupo Intercom’s social commitment of is Artesanum.com. Artesanum.com.

Grupo Intercom has decided to use its experience and resources to create a social project. The site makes it easy for craftsmen and women from all over the world to create and maintain their own shop over the internet.

Over 20 years all profits from artesanum.com will be donated to social projects in the developing world where many communities depend on crafts as their mains source of income.

At Grupo Intercom we participate in Teaming.

This is a charity initiative to collect micro donations that individually would not be feasible. From this arises the value of forming a Team. Our way of doing Teaming is contributing each month 1 euro from the salary of each employee who so desires.

All employees that participate vote on which cause the money is given to and Grupo Intercom then also makes a donation of the same amount as has been collected by the employees.

The project chosen has been the Research project for the treatment of child cancer of the Fundació Sant Joan de Déu . The aim of this project is the consolidation of the molecular and cellular biology laboratory, for the diagnosis and investigation of tumours that develop during childhood years.

The project chosen in 2009 aims to provide social care and home care to children with cancer of the Fundación Enriqueta Villavecchia. The foundation works to improve the quality of life for children with cancer and their families.
